Aggie Park

Preserving History. Planting the Future.

Environmental Design, Inc. was honored to partner with Texas A&M University to help bring Aggie Park to life — preserving mature trees, growing custom trees, and creating a landscape designed to serve generations of Aggies.

A Legacy in Every Tree

Honoring the Past.
Growing for the Future.

Aggie Park transformed the area surrounding Kyle Field into a vibrant gathering place for students, alumni and visitors while preserving the character and history of the Texas A&M campus.

Environmental Design worked alongside the project team to relocate mature trees, supply and install specimen trees, and custom grow trees specifically for the park.

A Lasting Legacy
Large tree relocation at Texas A&M
Preserving What Was Already There

Moving History,
Not Removing It.

Twelve existing trees were relocated within the project using EDI's ArborLift® system, allowing mature trees to remain part of the next chapter of Aggie Park.

Custom Grown for Texas A&M

Trees Grown for
the Vision.

Not every tree could simply be purchased from existing nursery inventory. Environmental Design custom grew approximately 250 smaller-caliper trees specifically for the project, giving the design team greater control over species, size and finished appearance.

A Park for
Generations

The finished landscape provides more than shade and greenery. Mature trees give Aggie Park an immediate sense of permanence — creating gathering places, framing views of Kyle Field and preserving the character of Texas A&M for future generations.
